| | Your utility coaminpes offer insurance for gas, electric and water lines at very reasonable rates (usually at $ 5 a month for each, but it can vary). Your home owner's insurance only covers inside the house itself. If the water line breaks inbetween the house and the street, it is the homeowner that pays the entire bill. If you have a brand new home, it might not be necessary, but that is what insurance is all about, protecting against the unexpected. If you needed to hire a crew with a bobcat to dig out your lawn and replace a broken water pipe, it could easily run over $ 5k, so yes, I have the optional insurance for all my utitlities. A very small price to pay for the peace of mind in case something does happen. I hope this helps you. |

| Pipes can be used to transport and sort items. They can also place and remove items from inventories (like chests, furnaces, etc.). There are seven types of transport pipes: wooden, cobblestone, stone, iron, gold, diamond and obsidian.
| |
| | |
| There are 5 types of Waterproof pipes: wooden, cobblestone, stone, iron and gold. Waterproof pipes are made from normal pipes by adding waterproofing agent. Waterproof pipes can transport water, lava, Oil, and Fuel.The water proof pipes are made by smelting Cactus Green (From Cactus).
| |
| | |
| | |
| There are 3 types of Conductive pipes: wooden, stone, and gold. These pipes can transport energy from Engines to machines. Conductive pipes are made from normal pipes by adding redstone dust.
| |
| | |
| In addition, Mining Pipe is a pipe only by name, as it cannot transport anything; it is the pipe placed by the Mining Well.
| |
| | |
| Pipe placement is important. If you want to remove items from a furnace, for example, then a wooden pipe needs to be attached to the side of the furnace. A pipe connected to the top of a furnace places items into the top spot, and a pipe connected to the bottom of a furnace puts items into the bottom spot.

| |
| ===Wooden Pipe===
| |
| Wooden pipes are for taking items out of a container.(e.g. furnace, chest and other things that may hold items)
| |
| Wooden pipes must be powered by an engine in order to transport items.
| |
| | |
| ===Cobblestone Pipe===
| |
| Cobblestone pipes are used for simple transportation of items. They will not connect to stone pipes.
| |
| | |
| ===Stone Pipe===
| |
| Stone pipes are used for simple transportation of items. They will not connect to cobblestone pipes.
| |
| | |
| ===Iron Pipe===
| |
| Iron pipes have only one output. It can be changed with redstone or a wrench.
| |
| ===Gold Pipe===
| |
| Gold pipes can boost the speed of items passing through them when supplied with a redstone current.
| |
| | |
| ===Diamond Pipe===
| |
| Diamond pipes can filter items to different output pipes based on a user-defined filter.
| |
| | |
| ===Obsidian Pipe===
| |
| Obsidian pipes will pick up items off the ground. Their collection range will increase when powered by an engine.
| |
| | |
| ===Wooden Waterproof Pipe===
| |
| Wooden Waterproof Pipes are used to remove liquids from tanks. They are the only type of waterproof pipe that will actually pull liquids out of a container versus merely transporting them or delivering them to a container.
| |
| ===Cobblestone Waterproof Pipe===
| |
| Cobblestone Waterproof Pipes transport liquid from tanks or pumps. They will not connect to stone waterproof pipes.
| |
| ===Stone Waterproof Pipe===
| |
| Stone Waterproof Pipes transport liquid from tanks or pumps. They will not connect to cobblestone waterproof pipes.
| |
| | |
| ===Iron Waterproof Pipe===
| |
| Iron Waterproof Pipes transport liquids, and have only one output. It can be changed with redstone or a wrench.
| |
| | |
| ===Gold Waterproof Pipe===
| |
| Gold Waterproof Pipes transport more liquid than stone or cobblestone waterproof pipes.
| |
| | |
| ===Conductive Pipes===
| |
| Conductive pipes can carry energy from engines to machines. (e.g. quarry , oil refinery etc.) They will not carry items or liquids.
