Alchemical Coal is the third highest tier of fuel introduced in Equivalent Exchange. It can be obtained through a Philosopher's Stone and is a necessary component of Mobius Fuel. It is four times better than Coal. Alchemical coal can be used to power Dark Matter Furnaces, Red Matter Furnaces and all power items introduced by Equivalent Exchange. It has an EMC value of 512.
It will not act as fuel for non-mod furnaces (ie. Vanilla, RP2, IC2), Steam Engines or Tunnel Borers.
